1.1 Images You Submit

When you scan a statistics problem:

• Your image is sent to our server for processing
• We use Google's Gemini AI to analyze the problem
• Images are processed in real-time and are NOT stored on our servers
• Images are not saved, logged, or retained after processing
• Only the analysis results are returned to your device

1.2 Chat Messages

When you use the AI Tutor feature:

• Your messages are sent to Google's Gemini AI for responses
• Conversations are NOT stored on our servers
• Chat history exists only in your current session and on your device

1.3 Information Stored on Your Device Only

The following data is stored locally on your device and never sent to our servers:

• Analysis History: Your past problem solutions (up to 50 items) - stored only on your device
• Onboarding Status: Whether you've completed the app introduction
• Subscription Status: Cached locally for offline access

2. What We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we don't do:

• No Analytics Tracking: We do not use analytics services to track your behavior
• No Personal Information: We don't collect names, emails, or account information
• No Device Identifiers: We don't collect device IDs or advertising identifiers
• No Location Data: We don't access or collect your location
• No Cross-App Tracking: We don't track you across other apps
• No Data Selling: We never sell any data to third parties

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 Google Gemini AI

We use Google's Gemini AI to process your statistics problems and provide tutoring responses. When you submit content:

• Your images and messages are sent to Google's Gemini API
• Processing occurs in real-time
• Google's privacy policy applies to their processing
• We do not control how Google handles data sent to their API

3.2 RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

We use RevenueCat to manage premium subscriptions:

• RevenueCat communicates with Apple's App Store
• Subscription validation is anonymous (no personal identifiers)
• We don't store payment information - Apple handles all payments

3.3 Firebase Remote Config

We use Firebase Remote Config to manage app updates:

• This is read-only - we fetch configuration, no data is sent
• Used only to check for required app updates
• Firebase Analytics is disabled in our app

4. Data Retention

• Server-side: We do not retain any user data on our servers. All processing is stateless.
• Device-side: Analysis history is stored locally until you delete the app or clear app data.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate measures to protect your data:

• All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
• Our backend is stateless - no database stores user content
• Images are processed in memory and immediately discarded

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is designed for students of all ages, including those under 13. Because we don't collect personal information, account data, or persistent identifiers, our app is suitable for use by children. Parents can feel confident that:

• No personal data is collected or stored
• No accounts are required
• No tracking or profiling occurs

7. Your Rights

Since we don't collect or store personal data on our servers, traditional data rights (access, deletion, portability) apply only to device-local data. You can:

• Delete local data: Uninstall the app or clear app data in iOS Settings
• Control permissions: Manage camera access in iOS Settings
